BACKGROUND: 

At the December 2, 2025 BCC meeting, Commissioner Becker led a discussion to consider changing the name of the Lower Kyle Canyon Citizens Advisory Council to Upper and Lower Kyle Canyon Citizens Advisory Council, due to boundary changes in the Lower Kyle Canyon area that resulted from annexation by the City of Las Vegas.

This ordinance was introduced at the January 6, 2026 Board of County Commissioners' meeting. A public hearing is scheduled for January 20, 2026.
