BACKGROUND:
On November 25, 2025 the district court entered an order dismissing a case that had been presented to the court to determine the arbitrability of a grievance under NRS 38.221. The County believes that this decision is in error and that it further creates an impediment to future grievance proceedings that involve arbitrability questions. This action would enable the County to appeal the district court's decision to the Nevada Supreme Court.
