BACKGROUND:
Assembly Bill 475, passed during the 83rd (2025) Session of the Nevada Legislature, appropriated a total of $15 million from the State General Fund to Clark County for its Eviction Diversion program.
The funding will be allocated in one tranche in the following installment:
Total for the Fiscal Years 2026 & 2027 ............................... $15,000,000
This item is for acceptance of $15million to cover both FY26 and FY27. Upon acceptance of the funding, the County agrees to prepare and transmit a report to the Interim Finance Committee on or before December 18, 2026, that describes each expenditure made from the date on which the money was received by Clark County through December 1, 2026; and prepare and transmit a final report to the Interim Finance Committee on or before September 17, 2027, that describes each expenditure made from the money appropriated by subsection 1 from the date on which the money was received by Clark County through June 30, 2027.
