Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $19,000,000. Supplemental Nos. 1 and 2 changed the funding account. Supplemental No. 3 decrease of $2,500,000 revises the total contract value to $16,500,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On April 13, 2023, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 3065 for the Fort Apache Road between Blue Diamond Road and Huntington Cove Parkway project, providing funds for construction on its annual Capital Improvement Program initially from Fuel Revenue Indexing Funds. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on May 16, 2023.

Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 3065 decreases construction funds, as the project is nearing completion. The term of the contract remains effective until  June 30, 2028, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 3065 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on February 12, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
