BACKGROUND:
Clark County Code Chapter 3.68 creates the Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC), which was established to make recommendations to the Board of County Commissioners with regard to allocations of federal funding for countywide community development needs and priorities. In order to better meet HUD requirements for citizen participation related to Clark County's HUD entitlement grants (HOME, CDBG, and ESG), staff is proposing to remove this ordinance.
The ordinance amendment was introduced at the October 15, 2024 Board meeting.
