BACKGROUND:
Pursuant to NRS 288.153, the Mount Charleston Fire Protection District (District) and the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 4621 (IAFF) entered into contact negotiations per the reopener clause within the current labor contract effective August 14, 2018.
On May 22, 2025, the District and IAFF reached a tentative agreement effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028. The IAFF membership ratified the agreement on May 27, 2025.
Attachment I contains the summary of the articles.
Attachment II contains the language revisions.
Attachment III is the IAFF FY 2026, 2027, and 2028 Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract were left unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in fiscal impact.
Attachment IV is the IAFF Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total cost of the contract language changes for the twelve (12) impacted positions.
