BACKGROUND: 

Per the 1 October Memorial Bylaws, One member represents the First Responders involved with 1 October; Should a member resign or become ineligible or unable to be a member of the Advisory Committee, the replacement member will represent the same group/party the former member represented. Each member's term shall extend for the memorial project's duration, including construction and site dedication. The Board of County Commissioners must appoint vacancies of committee members. Chief Kelly McMahill will replace Chief Andrew Walsh.

Staff requests approval of this appointment.
