BACKGROUND: 

The Clark County Department of Aviation's (DOA) offer to purchase Assessor's parcel numbers 162-33-101-003, 012, 015 and 162-28-402-007, 008, 009 for $60,305,000.00 under a voluntary acquisition (willing buyer/willing seller) has been accepted by the property owner. Escrow closing costs are estimated not to exceed $17,000.00, bringing the DOA's total acquisition cost to $60,322,000.00.

This process was conducted in accordance with the federal requirements to be eligible for reimbursement by the FAA to cover up to 75% of this acquisition through a future grant.
