BACKGROUND:
On August 20, 2026, Clark County and the Clark County Defenders Union (CCDU) reached a tentative agreement for the collective bargaining agreement.
Of the entire agreement, six (6) articles and one (1) appendix were amended, and one (1) new article was added.
Attachment I contains the summary of changes.
Attachment II contains the proposed agreement including changed and new language in its entirety, with new language bolded/capitalized and deleted language stricken.
Attachment III is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines, by article, which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in fiscal impact.
Attachment IV is the CCDU Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total and annual cost and/or savings of the contract language changes for one hundred fifty-two (152) impacted CCDU positions.
