BACKGROUND: 

This is the first amendment to the original interlocal contract effective from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2021 to support the State’s supplemental Practitioner UPL program for practitioners who are contributing to medical education within University Medical Center (UMC).  This amendment increases the contract from $774,718 to $3,108,879 due to higher than expected claims volume and designated practitioners.  This amendment also extends the current contract from June 30, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
