BACKGROUND:

The National Urban Search and Rescue Response System, established under the authority of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is a framework for organizing federal, state, and local partner emergency response teams as integrated federal disaster response task forces. The members of the City of Reno Fire Department wish to participate in the National Urban Search and Rescue Response Task Force. The Clark County Fire Department is currently the sponsoring agency for the Nevada Task Force 1 (NVTF-l). The MOU sets forth the responsibilities of Clark County Fire Department as the sponsoring agency and the Nevada National Security Site Fire & Rescue Department as the participating agency.

The Clark County District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the attached agreement.
