BACKGROUND:
On May 17, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605910-21 for Oracle Master Agreement to Oracle America, Inc. (LBE) in the amount of $8,000,000 for software, software maintenance, cloud services, hardware and a variety of services to multiple County departments.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from effective date through June 1, 2023, and included the option to renew for 4, one-year periods. There are 2 renewal options remaining.
• County may terminate this Master Agreement at any time without cause by giving Provider thirty (30) days prior written notice of such termination.
Amendment No. 1 updated the initial Contract term to be valid through May 31, 2024, with the option to renew for three (3) one-year periods.
Amendment No. 2 updated the Contract term to be valid through May 31, 2025, with the option to renew for two (2) one-year periods.
Approval of Amendment No. 3 will update the Contract term to be valid through May 31, 2026, with the option to renew for one (1) one-year period. The attached Amendment No. 3 document details the modifications involved.
