BACKGROUND: 

On February 1, 2022, the Board provided direction to staff to review the Clark County Code and Nevada law to make various provisions of the code consistent, so that members appointed to various boards, committees or councils serve at the pleasure of the Board.

The proposed ordinance was introduced at the Board of County Commissioners' meeting on March 1, 2022, and a public hearing was set for March 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Staff recommends approval of the ordinance.

The District Attorney's office has reviewed and approved as to form.
