BACKGROUND: 

Clark County has plans to install a school flasher system along Jimmy Durante Boulevard and Flamingo Road for Cynthia Cunningham Elementary School. Due to an existing conflict of the public right-of-way, a permanent easement is needed from Clark County School District (CCSD). The permanent easement with CCSD memorializes CCSD permitting Clark County to enter CCSD property to perform installation, maintenance and/or replacement of the school beacon, as solely determined by Clark County. The permanent easement encompasses a combined area of 40 square feet, more or less, upon the subject parcel.

The grant of easement document further describes additional terms and conditions as they relate to both the County and CCSD.

CCSD Board of Trustees approved the permanent easement on November 3, 2025.
