BACKGROUND: 

On July 15, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners directed staff to amend the Clark County Code in relation to hemp retail stores to provide regulations for the industry to protect public health and safety.

Staff recommend that the ordinance to add Chapter 7.220 and amend Section 6.10.020 of the County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for March 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
