Residential Services and Therapeutic Treatment for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children and Youth At-Risk of Becoming Commercially Sexually Exploited

Additional Comments:

The total Contract is estimated in the amount not to exceed $1,557,274.44 should all renewal options be exercised.

 

BACKGROUND: 

This Contract is to provide residential services and therapeutic treatment care for Commercially Sexually Exploited Children (CSEC) and Youth At-Risk of Becoming Commercially Sexually Exploited ages 11-17 years old with Eagle Quest (NBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved to help commercial sexual exploitation of children in Nevada with a trauma-informed and victim-centered approach.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
•                     The term of the Contract is from November 1, 2022 through October 31, 2023 and includes the option to                      renew for 1, one-year period.
•                     Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with                      advanced written notice.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(b), the competitive bidding process is not required as the services to be performed are professional in nature.

Eagle Quest currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
