BACKGROUND: 

This interlocal contract is in effect from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2023 to support the State’s supplemental DSH program for hospitals that serve a disproportionate share of uninsured, indigent, and Medicaid patients pursuant to NRS 422.382.  This contract is intended to facilitate a means by which funds allocated by the County for indigent services can be combined with federal matching funds for persons eligible for Medicaid or other indigent individuals in Nevada.
