BACKGROUND:

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has worked alongside Clark County to apply for the Fiscal Year 2026 BUILD Capital Grant through the United States Department of Transportation.  If awarded, this grant would award Clark County $24,450,000 which is intended to be used for the Spring Mountain Road Phase 3 between Decatur Boulevard and Aldebaran Avenue project.

Design specifications estimate this project will cost approximately $48,900,000 and future funding will be needed.  The RTC has provided a Financial Commitment Letter stating that if the award is granted to Clark County, the remaining funding will be provided by the RTC.
