BACKGROUND: 

The Clark County Fire Department has submitted a grant application in the amount of $97,942 for the Safe Homes Initiative, a program designed to dramatically decrease fire and carbon monoxide incidents within the county's most vulnerable urban and rural areas.

The CCFD expresses its gratitude for the opportunity to apply for this grant.  We respectfully request the Board's ratification of the attached grant application submission and authorization to accept any awarded funds
