BACKGROUND:
This project is located at Harry Reid International Airport and includes upgrading the existing C-Gates tram and D-Gates tram guideways to accommodate the new tram vehicles which are heavier than the existing vehicles. The tram infrastructure items that need to be modified include, but are not limited to the following: C-Gates tram expansion joints, C-Gates tram and D-Gates tram guide beam support columns, and the D-Gates pier turn location. All updates will help ensure the newer tram vehicles can be operated efficiently and safely.
