BACKGROUND: 

The County will provide $5,000 in Fiscal Year 2025/2026 County Outside Agency Grant (OAG) funds to Clark County School District to assist with the operational costs for the Del Sol High School Mariachi Program (DSHSM).

The term of the Agreement is for June 1, 2026.

During the Program on June 1, 2026, CCSD will pay for program-related activities. Specifically, the objectives of the DSHSM on June 1, 2026 will be to pay for program-related activities including travel and lodging to New York to perform at the Carnegie Hall. Travel and lodging will be limited to per diem rates as established by the General Services Administration. Meals and Incidental Expenses are not an eligible use of the Funds.

The District Attorney’s office has reviewed and approved the resolution as to form.
