BACKGROUND:

Clark County (County) received a request from Southwest Gas Corporation (SWG) for a right of entry to access a portion of  APNs 139-25-802-002, 139-25-802-004, and 139-25-802-005 known as the Pecos Bonanza Campus for the abandonment and capping of existing natural gas pipeline or pipelines and appurtenances no longer in use, modifying natural gas facilities, as well as for the construction and installation of a new natural gas pipeline, appurtenances and cathodic protection as required.

All contractors or subcontractors will be required to go through extensive background checks for access to any secured areas.

Once the infrastructure is installed, SWG will provide an “as-built” legal description to record the grant of non-exclusive easement.

This Right of Entry and Temporary Construction Easement (ROE/TCE) was presented to Long Range Planning on July 15, 2026.
