BACKGROUND:

This Contract is for software licenses, maintenance, and support with CyberSafe Limited dba Cybersafe (LBE).

A Fiscal Directive No. 6, Competitive Bidding Exception, was approved because the Department of Enterprise Resource Planning need software that can successfully integrate with SAP's security framework and Business Applications.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
The term of the Contract is from the effective date and will be in place as long as the department                      uses the software.
Includes the option to increase the award amount up to 3% for possible price increases for renewal terms.
Includes termination for convenience for either party with a 90-day written notice to the other party and                      termination for cause by either party.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 332.115.1(h), the competitive bidding process is not required as the item to be purchased pertains to software for computers.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
