BACKGROUND:
Bid No. 607834-25, for Las Vegas Boulevard Pedestrian Bridge Repairs, Refurbishing, and Lighting Upgrades was advertised on January 28, 2026, and opened on February 18, 2026. The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the renovation of the four (4) existing pedestrian bridges at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road. The work includes the repair of exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS), replacement of precast glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) handrails, deck repair and polyurethane coating, water intrusion mitigation, bridge soffit and pilaster repair, bridge pilaster panel cover replacement, lighting upgrades, and painting of bridges. The work also includes refurbishment of tuned mass dampers (TMD) in the pedestrian bridges located at the west and south legs of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, the pedestrian bridges located at the north and west legs of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue, and the pedestrian bridges located at the north, west, and east legs of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 120 calendar days from the date specified in the Notice to Proceed.
• Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience language as in all public works efforts of this type.
The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
