The total Contract award was in the amount of $7,538,090. To date, the total Contract amount used is $7,408,751.94. The additional funding increase of $8,887,121.71 will bring the total Contract amount to $16,425,211.71. |
BACKGROUND:
On February 16, 2016, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 603943-15 to Caseload PRO, L.P. (LBE) in the amount of $7,538,090 to provide a case management system for the Department of Juvenile Justice Services (DJJS). The system also included electronic monitoring of juveniles on house arrest. An Assignment of Contract to Tyler Technologies, Inc. was approved by the Department of Administrative Services on January 09, 2019.
The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
• The term of the Contract was from February 29, 2016, through February 28, 2021 and included the option to renew for software maintenance for one-year periods as long as the County elects to continue maintenance coverage.
• Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract with advanced written notice.
This approval will provide for an increase in funding to support additional years of annual maintenance for both Department of Juvenile Justice Services and Clark County Detention Center.
Tyler Technologies, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
