BACKGROUND:

On May 26, 2021, Clark County and Atkins North America, Inc. entered into a professional engineering services contract for the Dean Martin Drive between Oquendo Road and Sammy Davis Jr. Drive project.  Roadway improvements to include hot mix asphaltic concrete pavement for four travel lanes, raised medians, replacement of damaged sidewalk, curb, and gutter, pavement markings, streetlighting, traffic signal modification, utility modifications and relocations, traffic control devices, horizontal and vertical transitions, and other necessary appurtenances to make a good, complete and functional project.

The attached Supplemental No. 1 to the professional engineering services contract increases total funds to expand the scope of services to include a dynamic message sign as part of the project and complete record drawings, and extends the time of performance to December 31, 2024, unless further time extensions are granted.

WSP USA Solutions, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first supplemental contract as to form.
