BACKGROUND: 

On October 3, 2024, Clark County and the District Attorney Investigators Association (DAIA), reached a Tentative Agreement for a new contract effective July 1, 2024.  The DAIA membership voted and ratified the agreement on October 7, 2024.

Of the agreement, eight (8) articles were amended.

Attachment I contains the summary of changes.

Attachment II contains the proposed entire agreement including the changed and new language in its entirety for your information. With new language bolded and deleted language stricken.

Attachment III is the DAIA Fiscal Impact Assessment Summary which outlines by article which elements of the contract are unchanged, changed with no fiscal impact, and changed resulting in a fiscal impact.

Attachment IV is the DAIA Fiscal Impact Summary which outlines the total contract cost and/or savings of the agreement for twenty-nine (29) impacted DAIA positions.
