BACKGROUND:

On November 10, 2004, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 491 for the Cactus Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and Maryland Parkway project. On October 10, 2013, RTC approved Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 491 to change the project scope from Cactus Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and Maryland Parkway to Cactus Avenue between Rainbow Boulevard and Spencer Street. The Board of County Commissioners approved the third supplemental contract on November 5, 2013.

Supplemental No. 8 to Interlocal Contract No. 491 will extend the contract term to June 30, 2030, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared the eighth supplemental contract for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the eighth supplemental contract at its meeting on May 22, 2025.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the eighth supplemental contract as to form.
