BACKGROUND: 

On February 29, 2024, County purchased 5409 East Lake Mead Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89156 (Assessor's Parcel Number 140-21-303-004) which was constructed to be used as a behavioral health hospital.  County’s need is for a Crisis Stabilization Center (CSC) to provide short-term care for people experiencing a mental health or use crisis.  This interlocal agreement between the County and UMC is for the County to reimburse UMC for costs associated with purchasing capital equipment and construction costs for tenant improvements in support of the CSC in an amount not to exceed $1,357,264.
