BACKGROUND: 

On February 3, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners directed staff to review Clark County Code Chapter 8.20 and relax the requirement for a structural barrier separating minors from bar and/or lounge areas in restaurants and taverns.

Staff recommends that the proposed ordinance to amend Chapter 8.20 of the County Code be introduced and a public hearing be set for April 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
