BACKGROUND: 

Bid No. 607155-24, for RJC Lighting Control System Replacement was advertised on September 3, 2024, and opened on October 9, 2024.  The Bid amount is as follows:

This Contract is for the removal and replacement of entire building lighting control system, including control panels, control devices, wiring, patch and repair of walls, testing and commissioning, as-builts, contractor’s general conditions, bonds, insurance, contractor’s overhead and profit, escalation, constructability review of plans and specifications, and preparation of contractor proposed phasing plan and coordination with Owner and Design Consultant to establish an approved final phasing plan. Scope excludes procurement and installation of any lighting fixture and lamps, existing fixtures and lamps are to remain.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 605 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
                     Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
