Juvenile Assessment Center - Henderson

Additional Comments:

The initial Contract amount was $1,368,750, a funding increase was approved in the amount of $328,500, Amendment No. 1 will increase the Contract amount by $759,000, for a new total Contract amount of $2,456,250.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On May 3, 2021, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 605807-21 for Juvenile Assessment Center - Henderson to Eagle Quest (NBE) in the amount of $1,368,750 for an additional assessment center located in Henderson.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:

•                     The term of the Contract was from date of award through December 31, 2022 and included a 6 month                      extension.  There are no options remaining.
•                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Contract                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will add an additional one-year renewal to the Contract term and include a monthly increase to cover operations of the program. The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications and costs involved.

Eagle Quest currently holds a Clark County Vendor Registration.
