Interlocal Agreement for Covered Species Model Updates 2023

The initial Agreement amount was $79,128, Amendment No. 1 will have no fiscal impact.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On May 2, 2023, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved the award of CBE No. 606560-23 for Interlocal Agreement for Covered Species Model Updates 2023 to Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education, on behalf of the University of Nevada, Reno (LBE) in the amount of $79,128 for Covered Species Model Updates 2023.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:

                     The term of the Agreement was from date of award through December 30, 2023 and included a 6 month                      extension. 
                     Included the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement                      with advanced written notice.

Approval of Amendment No. 1 will provide for an extension of the agreement through September 30, 2024.  The attached Amendment No. 1 document details the modifications involved.
