BACKGROUND: 

On August 5, 2014, the Board of County Commissioners approved an Interlocal Agreement with City of Las Vegas (CLV) to establish funding of the irrigation water and maintenance for the landscaping within medians on Sahara Avenue between Durango Drive and Boulder Highway. The City of Las Vegas approved the interlocal agreement on August 20, 2014.

The attached first amendment extends the term of this Agreement to February 1, 2034, unless further time extensions are granted.

CLV will consider approval of this first amendment at its upcoming Council meeting.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the first amendment as to form.
