Additional Comments:

Initial contract amount was $6,900,000 and Supplemental Nos. 1 and 2 combined amounts increased the contract by $2,100,000. Supplemental No. 3 decrease of $1,000,000 revises the total value to $8,000,000.

 

BACKGROUND: 

On December 9, 2021, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1343 for the Hualapai Way between Russell Road and Flamingo Road project on its annual Capital Improvement Plan with funds budgeted for the project in RTC's Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund from Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2022. On January 4, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners approved this contract for construction of the project.

Two supplementals to Interlocal Contract No. 1343 were previously approved to increase total funds for construction to cover increased construction cost estimates.

Supplemental No. 3 to Interlocal Contract No. 1343 reduces construction funds.

RTC approved the third supplemental contract at its meeting on December 14, 2023.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the third supplemental contract as to form.
