BACKGROUND:
The Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) has programmed funds to design and construct flood control improvements. On June 14, 2018, RFCD approved an interlocal contract for design of the Jim McGaughey (formerly Owens) Detention Basin, Collection and Outfall project (Public Works No. PW.FCLA36A). The Board of County Commissioners approved the interlocal contract on July 3, 2018.
Supplemental No. 6 to the interlocal contract extends the term of the project from June 30, 2026 to August 31, 2027, to provide construction support for contract closeout. The current total contract value for the subject project is $3,232,870.
RFCD approved the sixth supplemental contract at its meeting on June 11, 2026.
The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the sixth supplemental contract as to form.
