BACKGROUND: 

The Board of County Commissioners approved a critical labor shortage (CLS) for a two-year period, beginning November 7, 2023, and continuing through November 7, 2025, for Juvenile Probation Officers (JPO). Clark County Juvenile Justice Services is seeking to re-designate and extend the Critical Labor Shortage for Juvenile Probation Officer I/II per NRS 286.523(7) for an additional two years from November 7, 2025, through November 7, 2027.
