BACKGROUND:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a Utah Corporation sole and 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3) non-profit, religious and charitable organization (LDS), is partnering with Opportunity Village, a Nevada Non-Profit Corporation, to present a live nativity event from December 8, 2026, through December 12, 2026, to be held at the Opportunity Village Buffalo Campus. The Opportunity Village Buffalo Campus is located across the street from Clark County (County) owned parcels 163-34-301-001 totaling 15.20 acres, and LDS wishes to use a portion of the Property for temporary event parking. A Revocable License Agreement (License) will be needed to allow LDS to access and use the County property within the licensed area of approximately 2.00 acres for a maximum period of 7 days. The license fee amount is $4,960.41. The License requires LDS to indemnify the County against all liability arising from any injury or damage caused by LDS or its agents and for failure to comply with the License, and to return the County property to its original condition.
