BACKGROUND:

On July 12, 2018, the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) approved Interlocal Contract No. 1020 for the Sloan Lane between Vegas Valley Drive and Ruby Creek Drive project on its annual Capital Improvement Program initially from Fuel Revenue Indexing Extension Funds. The Board of County Commissioners approved this contract on August 7, 2018, to provide funds for engineering for the project.

RTC and the Board subsequently approved five supplemental contracts that extended the term of the contract, and increased funds for engineering and construction.

Supplemental No. 6 to Interlocal Contract No. 1020 provides additional design funds to complete the design of the project. The time of performance remains effective until June 30, 2028, unless further time extensions are granted.

RTC approved the sixth supplemental contract at its meeting on June 13, 2024.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the sixth supplemental contract as to form.
