BACKGROUND: 

The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) has approved the Hollywood Boulevard between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard project on its annual Capital Improvement Program from its Highway Improvement Acquisition Fund - Fuel Revenue Indexing for Fiscal Year 2027.

Interlocal Contract No. 3302 provides funds for construction of the subject project. The Hollywood Boulevard rehabilitation between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard project includes pavement mill and overlay, full-depth pavement replacement, manhole and valve adjustments, curb ramp updates, sidewalk repairs, striping and signage updates, and median installation. The design is at least 90 percent complete, and all necessary right-of-way to construct the project has been obtained. The term of the contract is effective until December 31, 2031, unless time extensions are granted.

RTC has prepared Interlocal Contract No. 3302 for the Board's consideration. RTC approved the interlocal contract at its meeting on September 10, 2026.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the interlocal contract as to form.
