BACKGROUND:
On February 17, 2026, the Board of County Commissioners (Board) approved a Resolution of Intent to Lease Clark County (County) owned real property between the County and Southern Nevada Health District (SNHD) for ±303 square feet of office space and existing space sufficient for the Kiosk, located at Laughlin Community Resource Center, 55 Civic Way, Suites 111, 112, and 120, Laughlin, Nevada 89029 on Assessor's Parcel Number 264-12-801-008 (Premises).
The Board is now being asked to approve the Interlocal Lease Agreement which provides a five (5) years term commencing on April 1, 2026, and terminating on March 31, 2031, with five (5) one (1) year options to renew; and without requiring the payment of any rent.
The County shall provide utilities and services: water, sewer, gas, electricity, and trash.
Pursuant to NRS 277.050, the Board may lease County-owned real property to another public agency without consideration and without advertising for public bids on such terms as authorized by the Board after holding a public hearing at which objections by the public may be heard.
