BACKGROUND:
This Agreement is to provide Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Capital funds to City of Mesquite. As a subrecipient, the City of Mesquite is entitled to a portion of the County's CDBG entitlement allocation. County will reimburse City of Mesquite for the enhancement of the existing Woodbury Park to a community Skate/Pump track park. The following are the pertinent provisions of the Agreement:• The term of the Agreement is from date of award through June 30, 2026 and includes the option to extend for 2, one-year periods upon request.• Includes the County’s option to terminate for cause, convenience or default and suspend the Agreement with advanced written notice.The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 277.180. The parties are authorized to enter into interlocal contracts to perform governmental functions and activities.
