BACKGROUND: 

​NRS 497.190 requires that a Board of Adjustment be created in conjunction with an Airport Hazard Areas Ordinance. NRS 497.200 requires that the Airport Hazard Areas Board of Adjustment (Board) consist of five members, each to be appointed for a term of three years by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Section 20.13.100(b) of the Clark County Code specifies that none of the members of the Board may be a member of the BOCC or the Director of Aviation. 

Staff recommend that Jennifer Ammerman be appointed to fill a Board vacancy starting June 2, 2026.​
