BACKGROUND:
Due to an increase in demand for paramedic services and a limited number of volunteer paramedics available, the District has determined full time firefighter paramedic positions are required when volunteers are not available. In addition, the Assistant Fire Chief position will provide additional coverage and oversight to the area. These four new positions support the District's continuing efforts to provide public health and safety services to residents and visitors to the Mt. Charleston area.
