BACKGROUND:
At the conclusion of an extensive search concluded by Clark County Human Resources, which included a series of interviews and a townhall event allowing employees to provide their feedback, Mr. Francisco (Frank) Prado has been selected as the successful candidate for the position of Director of Family Services, effective December 9, 2024.
Mr. Prado has expertise in setting organizational vision and priorities, while ensuring mission alignment and leveraging data, research, and technology to inform decisions and improve outcomes. His work history exhibits a commitment to achieve goals while concentrating on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Mr. Prado has demonstrated a capability to maximize impact by effectively and efficiently leveraging available internal and external resources while focusing on cross-systemic integration to spearhead organizational and community change.
Mr. Prado has 15+ years of leadership in child welfare, public administration and organizational management, and he will be a valuable asset to Clark County. He was responsible for administering over $500 million in annual contracts, led and coached a multi-disciplinary team of over 1,100 staff members, capitalizing on opportunities for integration, collaboration and retention. His expertise in compliance, corrective action planning and operational improvements are critical for Clark County programs. His knowledge will be valuable towards ensuring Clark County's programs align with federal and state regulations while delivering high-quality services to the community.
