BACKGROUND:
On July 5, 2024, State of Minnesota awarded Sourcewell Contract No. 032824-KTC to Kenworth Truck Company, a Division of PACCAR Inc (OBE). This approval provides for the purchase of Kenworth Class 4-8 Chassis and Cabs with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services. Purchase order will be issued and facilitated through local distributor.
The following are the pertinent provisions of this approval:
• The term of the Contract being utilized is from date of award through July 9, 2031, or until allocated budget is exhausted, whichever occurs first.
• Clark County is not under exclusive contract with Kenworth Truck Company, a Division of PACCAR Inc., and therefore can cease purchasing product at any time.
This approval is in accordance with NRS 332.195.1, a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by (b) the State of Nevada or another state with the authorization of the contracting vendor.
The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
