The total Contract award is estimated in the amount of $10,000,000. 

 

BACKGROUND: 

On July 5, 2024, State of Minnesota awarded Sourcewell Contract No. 032824-KTC to Kenworth Truck Company, a Division of PACCAR Inc (OBE). This approval provides for the purchase of Kenworth Class 4-8 Chassis and Cabs with Related Equipment, Accessories, and Services. Purchase order will be issued and facilitated through local distributor.

The following are the pertinent provisions of this approval:
                     The term of the Contract being utilized is from date of award through July 9, 2031, or until allocated                      budget is exhausted, whichever occurs first.
                     Clark County is not under exclusive contract with Kenworth Truck Company, a Division of PACCAR                      Inc., and therefore can cease purchasing product at any time.

This approval is in accordance with NRS 332.195.1, a governing body or its authorized representative may enter into a contract pursuant to a solicitation by (b) the State of Nevada or another state with the authorization of the contracting vendor.

The Business License Department has determined that a Clark County Business License is not required for this effort.
