BACKGROUND: 

In accordance with the Southern Nevada Public Lands Management Act and per the formal policies adopted by the Board of County Commissioners on December 18, 2012, the Department of Comprehensive Planning is responsible for processing Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Recreation and Public Purpose (R&PP) reservations for lease or disposal action.

The attached list entitled “Clark County Public Purpose Reservations - Revised October 20, 2026” includes 46 sites, totaling approximately 947.42 acres of land, to be reserved.

If approved, the Director of the Department of Comprehensive Planning will submit the reservations list to the BLM Southern Nevada District Office.
