BACKGROUND: 

Bid No. 606625-23, for Russell Campus, Building and Fire Prevention: Lighting Control System Replacement was advertised on April 26, 2023 and opened on June 6, 2023.  The Bid amounts are as follows:

This Contract is for the construction and replacement of existing lighting control system with new lighting control systems, panels, devices and cabling throughout the entire building. Construction also includes the installation of new light fixtures, associated supporting cables and power accessories.

The following are the pertinent provisions of the Contract:
                     The Contractor shall complete the entire work within 395 calendar days from the date specified in the                      Notice to Proceed.
                     Includes the standard termination for cause within 7 business days and termination for convenience                      language as in all public works efforts of this type.

The recommendation of award is in accordance with NRS 338.1385.5, a public body or its authorized representative shall award a contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

Sturgeon Electric Company, Inc. currently holds a Clark County Business License.
