BACKGROUND:

Pursuant to Nevada Revised Statute 277.053, Clark County may convey real property to the State, any agency of the State, another political subdivision or an Indian tribe, without charge if the property is to be used for a public purpose.  The Clark County Water Reclamation District has requested the attached right-of-way grant for sewer easement purposes for the construction and operation of sanitary sewer lines on County-owned property, Assessor's Parcel Numbers 161-07-196-001 and 161-07-596-001, within the Clark County Flood Control Channel between Interstate 11/US 95 and Boulder Highway.

The sanitary sewer lines serve a public purpose and are compatible with the County's property.

The District Attorney's Office has reviewed and approved the right-of-way grant for sewer easement purposes as to form.
