BACKGROUND:

The Finance Department aggregates and reviews departmental requests for consideration by the Board at various times during the fiscal year. It has been determined that an allocation of $60,000 is needed for the Protectors of Tule Springs to increase awareness and promote use of the park units and increase available on-site educational opportunities for Clark County residents, all of which will have a positive economic impact on area businesses and communities. Funds are currently available from the Park Projects/Renovations District B within Fund (4140.000).
